Since Kingdom of Shades, Noé Soulier has led a reflection on dance, which mixes philosophical and scientific discourses, classical and contemporary choreographic codes. William
Forsythe’s Improvisation technologies provided a basis for his new piece. Reenacting Forsythe’s improvisations, Soulier diverts their didactic intent, reflecting on the notion of geometry and on “residual gestures”.
