Emmanuelle Huynh pursues her foray into Japanese culture, after Shinbaï, le vol de l’âme and Monster project. For Spiel, she collaborated with Butoh dancer Akira Kasai.
The two performers developed learning protocols and games, such as mimicry, cross-dressing or sharing props, to explore the other’s subjective mappings and reflect on the plasticity of identity.
