The late 19th century salons of Mexico City were quite “Parisian” – piano, French style waltzes, mazurkas, impromptus and preludes reminiscent
of French composers – while around the country conflict was brewing. Raúl Herrera captures the spirit of the time through the music of the time and the tale of his family, woven through the history of the country.
