VIOLET is probably one of Meg Stuart’s most abstract works, revolving around notions of adaptation, regeneration and fate. The five dancers embark on an intense, physical journey, similar to a drug-induced hallucination, and explore art’s power of transformation. The sound of drums and electronic music, interpreted on stage, accompanies the dancers.
