After his brilliant version of The Threepenny Opera in 2010, Robert Wilson pursues his work with the Berliner Ensemble, and his enduring collaboration with the Festival d’Automne. Accompanied by such fellow travelers as Angela Winkler and Lou Reed, he stages Lulu by Frank Wedekind, the story of a woman’s scandalous rise and fall, which is both a great modern tragedy and a dazzling ode to freedom.
