Ugo Rondinone’s diverse art practice has always been tinged with a Romantic sensibility. Sunrise East features a series of totem-like figures, each representing a month of the year – a metaphor for the cyclic nature of time. In How does it feel?, he combines architecture, voices and neon lighting to create a kind of sanctuary, both intimate and monumental.
