Interzone: Lieder und Bilder, by Enno Poppe, inspired by the William Burroughs stories named after the international zone of Tangier, is a journey through the low life of the city in the 1950s, traveling with the composer, Enno Poppe, the dramatist Marcel Beyer and the video artist, Anne Quirijnen, with their evocations of the spatial, temporal and emotional ambivalence of the interzone.
