In 2001, Emmanuelle Huynh started a reflection on aspects of Japanese culture, such as architecture, cooking and floral arrangement. Shinbaï, le vol de l’âme was born of her collaboration with Madam Seiho Okudaira, an Ikebana artist. A huge flower bunch invades the set, as both artists elaborate a common language using flowers, objects and gestures.
