For Monster, choreographer Kosei Sakamato asked Emmanuelle Huynh to create two solo pieces formerly performed by Yuka Saiki and Aline Landreau. An illustration of the variations necessarily involved in the creation of a work, two dancers mirror one another on stage like strange Siamese sisters, to the music of Pierre Henry’s Mass for the present time.
