Béla Pintér is without a doubt one of the shining lights of the Hungarian theater's new generation. Peasant’s Opera is one of his most famous productions, perfectly capturing his unique ability to a give postmodern theater a crowd-pleasing twist. Meshing tradition and folklore Pintér tackles the founding themes of tragedy with brio and joy.
