While highlighting the link between human beings and the voice, the ‘‘original instrument’’, this young Swiss composer is also drawn to the moments when language is more like a colour – where music and poetry overlap. He has found fertile ground in the work of Fernando Pessoa, a poet of the “in-between”. His music probes our memory and memories –  like a game at the edge of the void, or a “book of disquiet.”
