Sitting in the audience, the musicians from the Collegium Vocale Gent begin playing Schubert lieder. Two actors suddenly interrupt them with a series of monologues – testimonies collected in the 1960s from SS volunteers. In this concert-performance, the interplay between words and music creates a powerful new level of intensity.
