In this last of the three concerts devoted to his music, Jörg Widmann pursues his association with Mozart’s legacy, as both a composer and performer. The combination of instruments from different eras evokes the ‘‘interpolation’’ of sounds used by Varèse in Déserts, which ends with The Rite of Spring. The four featured works interact in fragments and echoes, and a multiple reflection of the familiar and the unknown.
