In Titus Andronicus, one of his goriest plays, Shakespeare portrays such pandemonium on stage that it highlights its own absurdity. The play offers Dood Paard a showcase for its inexhaustible creativity and intense theatrical energy, fueled by spontaneous contact with the audience. The theatre becomes an arena where something political is always happening, generating a space for debate and real group emotions.
