Jörg Widmann has pursued a brilliant career as both a composer and performer. Three concerts this year provide an opportunity to gauge his talent as a musician and get a better grasp of his work. This program, which is part of the Louvre’s ‘‘Boundaries’’ series, probes the distance between tradition and avant-garde, introducing Pintscher’s third Etude for Treatise The Veil, a cycle dedicated to American artist Cy Twombly.
