After focusing on gender and sexuality issues, Alain Buffard’s work gradually began to open up to narration and the voice. In this piece he moves from musical comedy to musical tragedy, mixing musical and dramatic genre codes and drawing from different types of music and aesthetic environments. Love, youth and beauty don’t last long, the only thing that does is the song…
