agnès b. has supported Ryan McGuinley’s work since the exhibition Rencontres en 2002... at Galerie du Jour.
This American photographer always wanted to photograph his country in the spirit of road movies, in the manner of Robert Frank, Richard Avedon and others. Last summer, he toured the USA in a van with a bunch of friends that he photographed every day, naked, in the woods or desert, swimming in lakes or oceans, dancing in houses and hotels. A celebration of the beauty of American landscapes and above all a celebration of freedom.
