This concert is a first collaboration of Festival d’Automne with the Division of Art and Cultural Programming at Montclair State University / New Jersey.
The second part of this overview of “transatlantic spectralism” is an invitation to prolong the analogy between visual arts and music composed on both sides of the Atlantic. Whether verging on minimalism, or evoking symbolism, a clockwork precision governs this music which seems sculpted directly out of silence.
