In this second concert uniting two young composers with Sciarrino, Combier offers another work that showcases talents merging music and poetry, while Thomalla’s wild.thing is inspired by the drum segment of a Jimi Hendrix track. Sciarrino provides a coda with Quaderno di strada, a journey whose itinerary traces a return to origins, a journey on the verge of silence, before the beginnings of time.
