“What is the bourgeoisie? What is happiness? Am I bourgeois, am I happy?” Finding answers to these queries lies at the heart of this existential tête-à-tête between Monnier and writer Christine Angot, with whom she collaborated eight years ago on « Arrêtez, arrêtons, arrête ». Monnier was born into a bourgeois family of Alsatian industrialists – the roots of an identity crisis that the duo seeks to explore through dance and dialogue.
