Radouan Mriziga
Born in 1985, Radouan Mriziga is a dancer and choreographer from Brussels, originally from Marrakesh, where he began his dance training, followed by further studies in Tunisia and France, culminating in a diploma at the P.A.R.T.S in Brussels. In 2013, he started his research as an artist in residence at the Moussem Centre nomade des arts in Belgium. There he worked on his first solo 55, followed by a group choreography 3600 in 2016, and in 2017 by 7, the third part of the trilogy. Produced by Moussem, this trilogy explores the relationship between choreography, construction, Islamic art, craft and architecture, and depicts human beings as an act of balance between intellect, body and spirit. In his work, he is interested in using dance as a means of sharing knowledge with audiences, beyond the purely aesthetic experience of a performance: knowledge about space, architecture, the body and its link to the mind and intellect or more recently knowledge about forgotten and repressed narratives. From 2017 to 2021, Radouan Mriziga is in residence at the Kaaitheater in Brussels. In 2022, he was invited to the Festival d'Automne to present his solo Akal, performed by Dorothée Munyaneza. He began a new trilogy at the Dream City festival in Tunis with Atlas / The mountain, devoted to the elements and inspired by Amazigh culture, which was presented in its entirety by the Festival d'Automne. He co-created Il Cimento dell'Armonia e dell'Inventione with Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker in 2024, which opened the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels.

In collaboration with the choreographer and dancer Radouan Mriziga, the challenge taken up by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker is to make Vivaldi's Four Seasons heard, using the tools of dance to hone the way we listen to this baroque masterpiece. Under the auspices of abstraction, the resulting alliance reconnects with the imaginary ecological world that is conjured up by this famous concerto.
Radouan Mriziga Libya
Libya, the third piece by Moroccan choreographer Radouan Mriziga to be performed at this year's Festival d'Automne, explores the notion of 'knowing', in which eight dancers and a series of lines on the floor seem to trace the trajectories of a constellation of movements that we are about to observe.
Radouan Mriziga Atlas/The Mountain
In Atlas/The Mountain, the Moroccan choreographer Radouan Mriziga transforms his body into a catalyst for energies and traditions from the Atlas Mountains. This solo in the form of a ritual is transcended by polymorphic figures and captivating rhythms.
