Jérôme Marin

Born in Orleans, Jérôme Marin spent several years at the Conservatoire National de Région d'Orléans. His work quickly focused on cabaret, particularly the world of Karl Valentin. Born out of his desire to sing in 2001, the character of Mr. K., a character who will appear alone or within a group, and for which Jérôme Marin wrote most of his songs. He worked with several companies on different projects as an actor, including Entre les murs after François Bégaudeau, directed by François Wastiaux. In 2011, he dove back into the world of cabaret and worked on several styles, mixing dance and song, with choreographers such as François Chaignaud, Daniel Larrieu, Marianne Baillot. In 2015, he participated in the reopening of the Parisian cabaret Madame Arthur and became the artistic director of its company. In 2018, he regained his liberty and started to imagine or participate in new projects around the cabaret and the chanson française, including his monthly Parisian meet: the cabaret LE SECRET. That same year, he was invited to the Avignon Festival and organized two special evenings entitled La Nuit sans retour.
