Daria Deflorian
Actress, playwright, director and performer, Daria Deflorian graduated from the Bologna Theatre School with a degree in performing arts. As an actress, she has worked with Stephane Braunschweig, Lotte Van Den Berg and Massimiliano Civica, among others. In 2012, she won the Prix Ubu for best actress, and the following year, the Prix Hystrio. From 2008 to 2021, she collaborated with Antonio Tagliarini on projects in which they were both authors and performers. Thanks to their shows that tour throughout Europe, the Italian duo has won numerous awards: Prix Ubu for Best Text in 2014, Best Foreign Show in Canada in 2015, Prix Riccione for Dramaturgy in 2019 and Prix Hystrio for Dramaturgy in 2021. Their projects have been regularly presented at the Festival d'Automne since 2015. In 2022, she signs the dramaturgy and direction of the graduation show for students of the international theater school La Manufacture with En finir, and in 2023, that of Elogio della vita a rovescio.
