Claudia Triozzi
Born in Italy in 1962, Claudia Triozzi trained in classical and contemporary dance, and moved to Paris in 1985. During this time, she collaborated with such French artists as Alain Buffard, Georges Appaix and Xavier Leroy. In 1991, she began working on her own pieces, with a desire to develop her own creations. Since The Family Tree (2002), she has been exploring voice work, conducting experiments that engaged her in text and song writing. Her work can be seen on stage as well as in videos and installations, exhibited in museums and galleries. Laureate of the Villa Médicis Hors les murs in 1999, she presents her shows on the European stage as well as in the United States, Korea and Japan, where she was awarded the AFAA, Villa Kujoyama scholarship.

Claudia Triozzi Pour rien mais dans le bon sens
In Pour rien mais dans le bon sens, Claudia Triozzi brings us a performative experience which pursues the “transmission through the body” approach that she has been exploring since 2011. She was able to further this research as part of a hospital residency made possible by the Festival d'Automne.
